Beginning in May, over 500 employees at the University of Dayton were laid off or furloughed because of the financial impact of the COVID-19 crisis.

As an expression of solidarity with and compassion for our university community members who have been impacted by the furloughs or layoffs, a fund was formed at the Marianist Mission to accept donations from faculty and staff at the University to aid with emergency financial needs. The Marianists have set up this donation opportunity to meet immediate emergency assistance (e.g. food, housing payment, healthcare and child care.)
